Shipping policy

The total delivery is made up of the production time and shipping time. Since I make all pieces by hand, the production time usually takes 5-15 days.

There are exceptions:
Pieces that are already finished are shipped within 2 days.
Some products take longer because I either have to wait a long time for the raw materials or the waiting list is so long at the time.

Normally, the production time is indicated with the individual products. In absolutely exceptional cases, I will contact you to explain why something is taking longer than planned.

Shipping time

The shipping time is not under my control. DHL is usually pretty fast, but as we all know, there are days in the year when things don't work out as hoped.

Shipping costs

Shipping in Germany is free of charge.

Shipping within the EU and UK = 14 € --> Free shipping from 350 € order value.

Shipping to Switzerland, Norway, Monaco = 29 €

Shipping to Canada, USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand = 29 € without insurance
Shipping to Canada, USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand = 50 € with insurance

The shipping costs also depend on the size and number of items and will be displayed at checkout. We ship with DHL and Hermes.

Shipping & resources

The responsible use of resources is very important to me.

That's why I consciously avoid using brand new packaging material for shipping wherever possible and only use it in exceptional cases. Thanks to the support of many regional retailers, this is possible.

So if you see lettering on the outer packaging of your delivery that has nothing to do with SCHMAAL, please don't be surprised. The sole purpose of this is to protect the environment and save resources in the long term.
