Silver: Classic and stylish. Goes with almost everything, but you need to polish it regularly to keep it shiny. Unless you already have pre-oxidized jewelry or you want it to change over time. Silver lives with you and changes with you.

Gold: Luxurious and eye-catching. Gold chains are a real statement. Available from me upon request.

Leather: For a casual, relaxed look. Some of my chains combine silver with leather, bringing a natural, rustic touch to your style.

Can sterling silver tarnish?

Oh yes. Due to sulfur compounds in the air, silver tarnishes, it oxidizes. In many cases, this is even desired, because I also make artificially oxidized necklaces.

Can I prevent tarnishing? How do I care for silver jewelry?

Clean your necklace regularly with a silver polishing cloth to prevent tarnishing. There are also other methods to make silver shine again; see my article Cleaning Jewelry for more information. Additionally, you can store the necklaces in an airtight bag when you are not wearing them.

Can I wear the necklace in the water and during sports?

Many people say you should take the necklace off beforehand. That certainly makes sense if you never want anything to happen to it. But I basically don't know anyone who does that. In my view, it really isn't necessary either. The chain might tarnish a little. But it cleans itself again when you shower. Or at worst, you have to maintain and clean it once in a while. For me, that's part of changing the necklace.

Because every necklace passes through my hands instead of coming off a production line. Quality over quantity is the credo here. All necklaces are finished by me in Germany, and every step of the work that I do by hand takes time. In return, you get a piece that lasts and grows old with you.
